Forskningsgruppe Digital Process Innovation

I forskningsgruppa Digital Process Innovation jobber vi med anvendt forskning i tett samarbeid med private og offentlige aktører.

Kontaktpersoner

All vår forskning gjøres i samspill med virksomheter som kan betegnes som programvare-intensive. Det vil si at programvare eller programvarebaserte tjenester er hovedproduktet, eller at avanserte programvareløsninger ligger til grunn for virksomheten. Nær sagt alle sider av samfunnet digitaliseres og de fleste organisasjoner gjennomgår en digital transformasjon. Dette er ett av våre fokusområder hvor vi forsker for å finne ny kunnskap om hvordan digital transformasjon kan utvikle virksomheten, forbedre forretningsmodeller, og øke konkurransekraften, og hvordan virksomheten kan utnytte et stadig større tilfang på data for å bli en datadrevet virksomhet. Som en effekt av pandemien har vi også hatt et stort fokus på hybrid arbeid i kunnskapsvirksomheter hvor vi ser at arbeidstakere og arbeidsgivere tenker helt nytt om hva som er gode strategier for kunnskapsarbeid. Vi forsker også på smidige metoder og strategier for å utvikle systemer med store krav til cybersikkerhet, safety og skalerbarhet. Dette er spesielt relevant innenfor energi- og transportdomenene, og for kritisk nasjonal infrastruktur.

Forskningsgruppa har et sterkt faglig miljø med et stort internasjonalt nettverk hvor vi jobber i tverrfaglige prosjektteam. Vi samarbeider tett med kundene våre gjennom forskningsbasert rådgivning, workshops, datainnsamling, analyse, ideutvikling, og implementering av funn fra forskningen. Forskningen har direkte nytte og innvirkning på kundenes strategi og utvikling. Vi vektlegger formidling av kunnskap både i vitenskapelige kanaler og direkte mot programvareintensive virksomheter.

Forskningsgruppa har et tett samarbeid med NTNU og UiO, bl.a. gjennom Geminisenter Software Engineering.
