Jeg har jobbet som seniorforsker i faglaget for polymer- og komposittmaterialer ved SINTEF Industry, Oslo siden 2006. Før jobbet jeg som postdoc-forsker ved Institutt for kjemi ved Universitetet i Oslo fra 2002 til 2006.

1. Design, syntese og formulering av funksjonelle polymermaterialer for ulike applikasjoner.
2. Struktur-egenskapsundersøkelse av komplekse polymermaterialer (plast og syntetiske fibre, polymerløsninger og hydrogeler/elastomerer) ved kombinerte teknikker
3. Aldrings- og nedbrytningsmekanisme for plast i forskjellige miljøer
4. Kjemisk og mekanisk resirkulering av termisk plast og herdede komposittmaterialer
5. Ytelsesforbedring av biobaserte materialer (tre, tang og ull etc.) i ulike bruksområder, inkludert vedheft, medisinsk bruk, emballasje og Li-ion batterier etc.
