SINTEF and NTNU are happy to invite you to SIG Seaweed 8 Conference in Trondheim! Here you will meet leading Norwegian and international experts within seaweed research and hear about the recent research on farming technology and product development.
We hope that you will use this opportunity to learn about the latest seaweed news and network with seaweed enthusiasts from the industry, research, education, governmental and funding bodies with knowledge and competence along the whole seaweed value chain – from farming to end products!
The conference is arranged in close collaboration with the Seaweed Biorefinery Platform Norway (the Seaweed Platform) and The Norwegian Seaweed Centre and is coordinated by SINTEF and NTNU. The Seaweed platform collaborates with Norwegian companies in the seaweed sector and this conference is a main arena to meet, present results from the R&D and discuss further what this growing industry needs.
The conference will also present results from other relevant R&D-projects both in Norway and abroad. This year will also be a great opportunity to meet representatives from the seaweed industry and research in Chile, Denmark and the UK.
We look forward to seeing you in Trondheim 14.-15. November!
