True Triaxial sand production tests have revealed the importance of stress anisotropy. Sand mass/rate decreases exponentially with increasing anisotropy. Stress anisotropy means "Early sand" but "Less sand". It helps explain discrepancy between field and lab based model predictions. Model is implemented in SandPredictor.
