Recommendations for Good Traceability Practice in the food industry This guide is a formal delivery from the TRACE project (Contract number 006942, Tracing Food Commodities in Europe, FP6-2003-FOOD-2-A). The guidelines will be applied in both the TRACE project and other projects where TRACE research partners are participants. The document will be continuously revised based on experiences done in these projects. The newest version of the GTP you will find on the website www.tracefood.org. A final guide to Good Traceability Practice in the Food Industry will be published at the end of the TRACE project in 2009 (www.tracefood.org). Our aim is that these guidelines shall become THE global guide to chain traceability, and constitute a major part of the TraceFood framework.
