A new funding model for investing in adaptation and DRR, launched at COP31, offers a fresh take on unlocking private sector capital and driving resources to communities for locally led adaptation, using a standard and proven delivery mechanism. LoCAL+ is the next generation tool for financing adaptation in LDCs, SIDS and fragile countries, developed and honed over decades by UN Capital Development Fund. Public and private sectors come together with country partners in this forward-looking event.
