Flow visualization is the study of methods to display dynamic behavior in liquids and gases. Flows in gasses and liquids are in most cases are invisible. Therefore, the challenge is not only to develop fast methods but also to find ways of providing useful information to the users. In this presentation we give an overview of state of the art methods, both for traditional geometry-based 2D imaging and texture based-methods in 2D and 3D.
