Kristine Midtbø

Master of Science

As a Researcher at SINTEF Industri within the Multiphase Laboratory, I am engaged in a diverse range of exciting projects. My work spans from pioneering technologies for reduced emissions in the oil and gas sector to initiatives focused on hydrogen, CO2, and heat storage. On a daily basis, my work involves a spectrum of activities, from hands-on experimental trials in the lab to process and CFD simulations.

My academic background includes a master's degree in Energy and Environment from NTNU, with specialization in fluid dynamics and CFD computations.

Competence and research areas

My primary expertise lies in fluid dynamics and process technology. My passion is optimizing complex systems to enhance energy efficiency and discover innovative solutions for future energy needs. As a result, I have experience in biogas systems, the oil and gas sector, and have also been involved in projects related to hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and thermal energy storage.
