Julien is a postdoc research scientist with a PhD in Electromagnetic Geophysics. His main research at SINTEF focus on applications and improvements of Controlled-Source Electromagnetic (CSEM) methods for CO2 storage.
Education
Julien was graduated from a PhD in geophysics (2021) at the Institut Terre et Environnement (ITES) of the University of Strasbourg, France, in collaboration with the French geological survey (BRGM) at Orléans, France, working on 3D complex resistivity imaging using controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) data. Before, he completed a MSc in geophysical engineering (2018) at the Strasbourg School of Geophysics Engineering (EOST), France.
Competence and research areas
Geophysics, focused on electromagnetic methods: field acquisition (land-CSEM, MT, ERT), data processing, modelling, inversion; Numerical modelling; Inverse problem.
