Cathrine is a senior adviser in the Applied Geoscience group and has the last years focused her work on CO2 storage. She has been responsible for establishing Svelvik CO2 Field Lab, a small-scaled field laboratory where geophysical methods for monitoring of CO2 in the subsurface are being tested and developed.

Education

Cathrine has a MSc in physics (1989) and a PhD in petroleum related rock mechanics (1995) from NTH (now NTNU), Norway. Cathrine has also PUFS (1989) - a pedagogical education for master students at NTH.
