Through technology development and research, SINTEF Ocean contributes to a more effective and sustainable utilization of the ocean resources. Among other areas, our research addresses plastic in the ocean, oil protection, cultivation of seaweed and new feed resources, as well as technological research with and for the Norwegian fishery and aquaculture industry.
The laboratories at SINTEF SeaLab are established to support our research activities and the facilities are flexible and well equipped for various experimental studies.
