The research group works with health promotion and the concept of “health in all sectors,” where quality services, prevention, and health-promoting environments interact. Our research contributes to sustainable services, increased patient safety, and more effective use of digital solutions.
Our Expertise
We offer strong interdisciplinary expertise in evaluations, implementation studies, innovation research, and method development. Our expertise includes the use of qualitative methods, registry data, surveys, clinical trials, and mixed methods approaches. We have in-depth knowledge of the organization and governance of health and care services, health economics/cost-effectiveness, the consequences of digitalization, and patient and user experiences — across age, gender, and social inequality.
How We Work
We combine social science and health science perspectives, and we develop and evaluate solutions within and together with the services — and with suppliers (private sector). We collaborate closely with municipalities, health trusts, authorities, the voluntary sector, private businesses, as well as patients and users. Our projects are practice-oriented and applied, and are based on rigorous scientific methods.
We work systematically with implementation and knowledge use in services, and we disseminate results through scientific publications, reports, and presentations — with the ambition to influence evidence-based policymaking. Our findings are regularly cited in public documents, and we are known for responding quickly when needs arise.
