Nordic Battery Thrusdays – Webinar on challenges and trends for 2nd life battery applications
18th of January 2024 the projects SafeBESS and TREASoURcE co-organized a workshop together with Innovation Norway, Business Finland, Business Sweden and Nordic Innovation.
In the webinar we get presentations from SINTEF and Eco Stor highlighting the challenges and opportunities related to 2nd life batteries from electric vehicles. The second half of the webinar is a panel discussion involving RECHARGE Batteries, RISE, Siemens Energy, Sandvik and CeLLife Technologies. Here, we get some insight into what opportunities industry sees in this market, and we also get some views on how the new EU Battery Regulation will affect the development of the 2nd life battery market.
