Hilde Færevik is a senior researcher and business developer in SINTEF Digital, Department of Health Research. SINTEF's representative in the reference group for the Health Cluster in Horizon Europe led by the National Research Council. Special responsibility for international coordination and positioning. Head of the Gemini Centre Health and Climate with participants from NTNU and SINTEF.
Education
PhD in physiology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and master's degree in asthma and performance in winter athletes. Coach education from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences and officer training from The Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy. Leadership education from NHO Female Future's leadership program.
Competence and research areas
Research experience from laboratory research in temperature physiology and performance. International ISO/IMO standardization work. Research includes how external surroundings (temperature) and work affect physiological function (sleep, activity), cognitive performance and health. Research and innovation projects with focus on validation of technological solutions for better health and safety.
