The aim of robot vision is to make a wide range of robot platforms able to interact with the world around them through visual inputs.

With vision, robots can be used in applications with more variations in tasks and environment. Topics range from object detection for robot grasping in manufacturing to collision detection for mobile robots in the field, and everything inbetween.
