HAN-port
The HAN-port which all smart meters in Norway are equipped with offers access to measurements of different parameters like power and voltage with a higher resolution than the network operator fetches through their measurement system. The data from the HAN-port is by law owned by the consumers/prosumers themselves. Devices exist which can read and store data from the HAN-port. ENERGYTICS will install such devices that make the data available to the researchers at smart meters to volunteering consumers and prosumers employed at SINTEF Energy Research and some of the network operators involved in the project.
This demonstrator will both make more high-resolution data available to the project and the other demonstrators and contribute to more knowledge about the HAN-port and its possibilities.
