Reporting outages in the low-voltage (LV) distribution network
All failures and outages occurring in the distribution network should be registered by the network operators in FASIT [Knut A. Rosvold; Store Norske Leksikon]. Until now, the data quality for registering faults and outages in the LV distribution network has been low as the duration and number of customers often rely on estimates. This demonstrator will make this reporting more accurate.
The smart meters in Norway save a log containing all power outages it has experienced. By using this, outages in the low voltage distribution network can be registered. The data can be customised to fit the requirements of FASIT.
