Our focus is on designing optics that deliver high-quality image data tailored to the specific requirements of each application. This includes tasks such as illumination design, wavelength and filter selection, optical geometry optimization, and in-depth camera characterization.
We work closely with our colleagues in the Computer Vision group to tightly integrate innovative optical design with advanced image analysis and machine learning. This interdisciplinary collaboration enables us to deliver end-to-end imaging systems that are both physically resilient and computationally intelligent—capable of handling challenging environments and complex scenes.
