Selected experiences with production and use of agglomerates for ferroalloys are presented during the first day. On the second day, the focus will be industrial production and use of agglomerates, from iron ore and ilmenite pellets to briquette production and the roller press technique. Agglomeration by mixing and production and use of industrial binders are also emphasized. There will be an opportunity for technical visits at SINTEF/NTNU including a demo on briquetting in a small roller press, after the seminar.
