ENERGYTICS

The project has four areas of focus, each having the potential to bring value to the operation of the electricity grid:

• Operation of AMS and additional services
• Real-time analysis of failures and events
• Analysis of voltage quality and consumption data
• Maintenance and reinvestment decisions

In each area, there will be performed demonstrators; prototypes which demonstrate analysis or visualisation of selected data in practice. In each focus area the number of possible demonstrators is large, and a selection of prioritised ones is in progress. To choose demonstrators, among others the following criterions have been considered:

• Benefit for the network operator
• Benefit for the customers
• Feasibility (it is appropriate to start with the demonstrators which are easier to implement regarding data access and other aspects)
• Possibility for combining several data sources to gain a better utilisation of the AMS data
