- In our laboratory for additive manufacturing, we do research on 3D-printing of metals such as steels, maraging steels, tool steels, aluminium alloys, titanium alloys and copper-based alloys.
- The workhorse in this activity is our state-of-the-art 3D-printer from SLM-Solutions. Our work typically involves alloy development, process development and characterization of the powder used as well as of the components produced.
The laboratory belongs to MANULAB, a national infrastructure for basic research on manufacturing engineering.
