We perform research-based mass spectrometric (MS) and high-throughput (HTS) analyses for SINTEF, academia and industry.

We have diverse high-end infrastructure within most mass spectrometry (MS) modalities for analysis of both organics an inorganiucs. The platform includes GC-MS, GC-QQQ, LC-MS, LC-QQQ, QTOF, FT-ICR, ICP-MS/MS, FFF/ICP-MS-MS. The group has extensive experience in MS and physio-chemical analysis.

Our analytical R&D is within several areas; biotechnology, nanomedicine, metabolomics, food and feed, bioprocess development and optimization, chemical process development (CO2 capture and biorefinery), oil and petrochemicals characterization, mineral and material characterization, advanced water analysis (NOM, emergent chemicals) and nanoparticle characterization.
