I work with timber structures, from traditional construction and historical joints to modern systems. My focus is on practical solutions, circularity and durability, as well as preparedness, resilience, community effects and megatrends. I connect topics that are often kept apart, such as ecology, holistic design and industrial symbiosis. I enjoy aesthetics in buildings and structures. I am an idea generator and idea motivator. I use sketching actively to develop and communicate ideas.
