Dimitri Pinel

Education

I have an engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France as well as an MSc in Electric Power Engineering from NTNU, Trondheim, Norway.
I also have a PhD from NTNU. The thesis title was: "Optimal investment in the energy system of zero emission neighborhoods" and was realized as a part of the FME ZEN.

Competence and research areas

My main competences lie within energy system optimization and analysis using Julia and Python. This covers different energy system scales from local to more global energy systems, covering both investment and operation as well as across multiple sectors and energy carriers.
I also have experience with various clustering approaches.
