Maritime Data Space - invitation to stakeholder workshop with the Code Kilo joint industrial project in maritime sector

Abstract

Code Kilo is a Joint Industrial Project promoted by EuroYards and carried out by its members and partners, the most important shipbuilders community in the Western hemisphere. Code Kilo aims at developing a new open standard and a dedicated open connected platform. These standards will be conceived to enable the connection of ships/vessels to an on shore (cloud) environment able to collect, secure, buffer, transport and pre-process operational data.

Just like other industries and economic fora, the maritime sector will therefore be able to promote an overall standardization of the IoT language and increase its competitiveness and efficiency through the cooperation among its players.

SINTEF and the Maritime Data Space project is invited as key stakeholder to this workshop at Europort.
