Objective
The SkyTrack project aims to find and develop methods so that Operation Management Systems (OMS) can be deployed with minimum engineering and configuration time, by an end-user or by a system integrator, holding limited knowledge of the OMS software used and internals, but with extensive knowledge about the actual production facility and its needs.
This project is about changing this by making it possible to deliver the same application software for any processes/plants of similar type, even if the plants are somewhat different. The prerequisite for this is that the software can be parametrized to adapt to a specific plant without doing excessive programming or time-consuming engineering work.
