Maintenance and rehabilitation of hydropower plants

Maintenance and rehabilitation of hydropower plants involves projects with substantial economic and safety consequences. The main challenge for the decision maker is, based on an overall assessment, to prioritize and select the right projects at the right time. Achieving the potential benefit of a more efficient maintenance may require the use of modern technology and methods, highly educated staff, and organizational changes.

Building of a new hydropower plant

The objective was to give a contribution to the maintenance function of the power companies in order for them to operate more systematically and efficiently.
