Increased utilisation of the Nordic power transmission systems

"Increased utilization of the Nordic power transmission system”, was a project that SINTEF Energy Research carried out together with Nordic universities and the Nordic transmission system operators Elkraft System, Fingrid, Svenska kraftnät and Statnett. The main objective in this project was to develop methods, models and control solutions that will contribute to enable increased utilization of the existing power grid. The project had three main activities, and below are some examples of objectives and results within each of the activities.
