Manufacturing Technology Norwegian Catapult Centre (MTNC) is a so-called catapult or testing centre where industrial companies can test new technology and new solutions. The centre is lead by SINTEF Manufacturing on behalf of NCE Raufoss.
NCE Raufoss Omstillingsmotor
Omstillingsmotoren will stimulate the Norwegian industry and Norwegian SMEs to become greener, smarter and more innovative. The project is lead by SINTEF Manufacturing on behalf of NCE Raufoss.
The main goal of KOPROD is to demonstrate methods and technology solutions for future competitive production of complex, small and medium volume products for cost-sensitive markets. The project is financed by the Norwegian Research Council's BIA-program.
The research project CPS Plant will develop a framework for the Norwegian approach for the digital manufacturing industry. The consortium consists of 3 Norwegian industry partners, Norsk Hydro, Benteler Automotive and Hycast, and SINTEF Digital and NTNU (Trondheim and Gjovik) are the academic partners. SINTEF Manufacturing is the project leader.
SFI Manufacturing's vision is to show that sustainable manufacturing in a high-cost country like Norway is possible, given the right products, technologies and people. Cross-disciplinary research will provide a knowledge based toolbox for future industrial innovations.
The Arena-project i4plastics consists of 17 small and large companies and expertise centres in the plastics industry, with SINTEF Raufoss Manufacturing as formal host. Most of the involved companies have a strong international position, based on their strength in plastic-related materials and manufacturing processes.
We are leader of NCE Raufoss, the national competence centre for lightweight materials and automated production in Norway. The ambition is to be Norway's center for all manufacturing industry. NCE stands for Norwegian Centre of Expertise and is a national initiative to develop the most expansive and internationally oriented industrial clusters in Norway.
