SINTEF researches what influences our travel behavior and how we can encourage more people to travel collectively. In order to increase public transport, walking, and cycling, we must obtain knowledge about the design of public transport to ensure that the journey from door to door is as efficient and safe as possible.
This includes studying the technology potential to ensure that road users and public transport companies receive the best possible information for travel prediction and planning.
