Data Week 2026 is a two-day in-person conference taking place in Oslo, Norway, on May 5–6, 2026. The event is organized by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) in collaboration with BDVA members: the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), SINTEF, and Vestlandsforsking.
The conference provides a high-profile platform for regional, European, and international stakeholders to showcase achievements, exchange expertise, and engage with the broader data and AI community.
Theme: "Data Fjords: Unlocking AI for Industry and Society"
The theme of Data Week 2026 is "Data Fjords: Unlocking AI for Industry and Society," focusing on the fundamental elements of data value creation. Artificial intelligence (AI) plays a pivotal role in unlocking the potential of data. Creating value from data also requires an ecosystem perspective and collaboration among multiple stakeholders, which lays the foundation for top-tier research that can be rapidly implemented to enhance competitiveness and deliver societal benefits.

Practical Information
Venue: Meet Ullevaal is one of Norway’s largest conference centers, located within the Ullevaal Stadion, Norway’s national football stadium. Nearby, you will find hotels, a shopping center, and several restaurants. Learn more about the venue here.
Registration and Pricing: The event is open to all participants. BDVA members receive a 50% discount (3 tickets per full member organization, 1 ticket per associate member organization).
Note: On the evening of Monday, May 4, a reception for attendees will be held at Oslo City Hall.
