SATS Certification is an association of manufacturers' and independent test laboratories and end user organisations set up according to the guidelines of EN 45011: General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems.

SINTEF Energy is also secretariat for SATS Certification, which issues internationally recognized type test certificates, product certification and test reports, based on samples completed in one (or more) of the member laboratories in SATS.
