Gunhild A. Reigstad is a senior research scientist in SINTEF Energy Research. Based upon her background in refrigeration technology and fluids engineering, Reigstad has worked with LNG, hydrogen and CCS technologies. Through her work with the Hydrogen4EU study (hydrogen4EU.com) and the ELEGANCY project, Reigstad has in-depth knowledge on the transition to a decarbonized energy system and potential pathways in Norway and Europe.
Education
Ph.d. Fluids engineering, NTNU, 2014
M.Sc. Energy and environment, NTNU, 20014
Competence and research areas
Use of hydrogen CCS technologies for decarbonization of the energy sector.
Hydrogen production from natural gas with integrated CO2 capture.
LNG technologies, incl. CFD analysis of flows in parallel channels of heat exchangers.
