From 2010 to 2014, he was an R&D Engineer at Aselsan, Inc. in Turkey, specializing in Electronics Design. He completed his Ph.D. in Electric Power Engineering at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, between August 2014 and November 2018. Since 2018, he has been a Research Scientist at SINTEF Energy Research.
