Safety and security of people and material assets
At SINTEF we are working systematically to avoid accidents involving damage or personal injury. Our aim is to develop a robust occupational safety culture in which both management and employees exercise responsibility, and are motivated to conduct themselves correctly in order to promote safety in our day-to-day work.
SINTEF's projects entail activities which in the first instance may involve some level of risk. We employ methods which assist us in our work to assess, and take action to mitigate, risk.
Our employees shall be competent and aware at all times of the importance of their conduct, thus enabling them to influence the development of a safe workplace.
