Introduction to BattMo - Workshop 20 october

Join us for a hands-on, one-day workshop all about BattMo – the flexible, high-performance simulation framework built for batteries of the future. Maximum number of participants for the workshop is 30.

Purpose

Join us for a hands-on, one-day workshop all about BattMo – the flexible, high-performance simulation framework built for batteries of the future. Whether you’re simulating the performance of large prismatic cells in 3D or just starting out with electrochemical modelling, BattMo is here to power up your research!

This workshop is free and open to members of Geminisenter Batteri. It is designed for PhD students, early career researchers, engineers, or anyone who is ready to explore how simulation can accelerate discovery, reduce lab time, and bring a new level of insight to their battery work.

What You Will Learn

You’ll get hands-on time with expert developers, example notebooks you can reuse in your own work, and insights into how BattMo is being used in cutting-edge projects today. Participants will learn:

•    How to get started with BattMo in minutes
•    Setting up and running your own battery models (even in 3D!)
•    Visualizing current flow, degradation – and more
•    Tips & tricks for applying BattMo in real research workflows

Location

The workshop will be held at SINTEF’s new Energibygget in Trondheim Monday, 20 october.
Room: Rio 2.

Energibygget, Sem Sælands vei 11, Trondheim
