Abstract
This report documents a survey of state of the art (SOTA) and user cases of zero-emission technology for vessels operating public tendered passenger services in Norway. The objective of this SOTA is to provide an overview of the technology that is relevant for zero-emission passenger vessels running on battery or hydrogen fuel cells, and its associated properties relevant for public tendered services.
This report also gives an overview of domestic public maritime passenger transport services, with aggregated number of vessels, logged sailing distances and estimated fuel consumption. This forms the basis for considerations about potential and bearings for zero-emission operation.
