mech2seis4D code can now calculate velocity changes in each element of the provided strain cube and export to ascii file
• Effect of shear strain is demonstrated for both a compaction zone and an extension zone in the overburden.
‒ The importance of shear strain increase with increasing ray path angle up to 45 degrees
• Change of sign of ray path angle changes also the fractional velocity change in an
element. This is caused by shear.
