On the use of agent-based modelling for investigating household energy retrofit behaviour

Abstract

The presentation is a part of the Behaviour project in which we investigate the role of energy behaviour in the low-carbon transition. Specifically, we investigate how Energy System Modeling (ESM) and Agent-Based Modelling (ABM) can be integrated effectively. Main focus of this presentation was the use case on agent-based models for investigating household energy retrofit behavior.
