Abstract
Deregulation of the Norwegian power market has increased the amount of information to be exchanged between the different actors in the power market and also for in-house communication. Automatic exchange of information between actors in the power market and for in-house communication is important to achieve an efficient and quality assured communication. A standard format for in-house communication can result in benefits for several actors. ODEL is a format for exchange of metering and settlement information which is suited for this purpose.
