Abstract
The 8th Oil Spill Identification Round Robin within the Bonn Agreement Oil Spill Identification Network of Experts (OSINET) has been organized by SKL, Sweden. SINTEF received four oil samples (One spill sample and three suspected sources) and has followed instructions (Ad_4) given by the organizers for analysis and data treatment. The spill sample was from a Swedish harbour, and the source samples from two ships that were considered to be the suspected sources. Using CEN (2012) the following conclusions were made when comparing the spill sample with the suspected sources:• All samples were refined products• The source samples were different from each other• The spill sample has non-match to Source 1• The spill sample has non-match to Source 2• The spill sample has positive match to Source 3
