Abstract
Furnestunnel is located on R61 between Vegsundet and Stranda, close to Ålesund.It has been inspected using Ground Penetrating Radar to determine the distance between the inside of the protective wall and the rock surface. The measurements worked well and it was possible to identify the distance that will be useful to choose location for inspection hatches.
