WHICH SOCIAL PROCESSES AND STRUCTURES CAN STRENGTHEN AND SUPPORT THE SOCIETAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS A TOOL FOR REGIONAL VALUE CREATION?

Abstract

Different contexts creates different definitions related to entrepreneurship, where this paper aims to focus on Societal Entrepreneurship based on a wider definition than traditional entrepreneurship when it comes to create and initiate activities or organizations With a social purpose. Societal Entrepreneurship is often seen related to welfeare Challenges in society, where the civil society and voluntary sector is highlighted as a possible solution for the future. Quadruple Helix is discussed based on the different rationale and perspectives within the different sectors. An Awareness Framework is presented and discussed related to a case-study, based on the importance in understanding each others perspectives and contexts for Cooperation and regional Development.
