ArcticOcean2050-What happens in the Arctic and why does it matter to us?

Abstract

The Arctic is changing rapidly. In this event, we will provide an overview of the ten-year Arctic Ocean 2050 programme, which brings together Norwegian and international scientific expertise to understand developments in the Arctic and help shape the future of the Arctic Ocean. Four researchers will give short presentations on the project, with a particular focus on how new technologies can improve our understanding of changes in the Arctic Ocean and what these changes may mean for society. Each presentation will be brief, and the event will conclude with an open question-and-answer session with the audience.
