Vision: Accelerating deployment of offshore wind

Since 2009 NOWITECH has developed 40 innovations in Offshore wind. NOWITECH was concluded as an FME by the end og 2017. NOWITECH is now continued as a research network.

The project was targeted towards industrial value creation. The project was timely since the international development was at its very beginning and Norwegian offshore and energy industry had a competitive advantage

The project was designed chiefly to develop strategies aimed at integrating energy from renewable sources into European power grids as cheaply as possible.
