The first HUMANI symposium arranged

The first HUMANI symposium arranged

On February 12–13, we hosted the first HUMANI symposium in Trondheim. Invited guests and local speakers shared exciting advances in image preprocessing and quantitative MRI, engaging the audience throughout the program.

Highlights included work on:

  • Large datasets like the UK Biobank and handling confounds
  • Segmentation of structures such as the cerebellum and substantia nigra from 7T MR images
  • Brain iron quantification and its relevance to Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s
  • White matter lesion segmentation and progression
  • Thanks a lot to everyone who contributed and made this event a great success!
