NACSIC - New Applications of Cubic Silicon Carbide

NACSIC - New Applications of Cubic Silicon Carbide

NACSIC 2015 is the first workshop that gathers stakeholders in the emerging field of cubic SiC as an active material for energy applications. The workshop is intended to demonstrate promising energy systems utilizing c-SiC in invited and contributed talks. Also, it will serve as an important arena for networking and initiation of European projects within this important field.

Location
Thon Hotel Opera, Oslo, Norway
Address
Dronning Eufemias gate 4, 0191 Oslo
Start
28/05/2015 11:00 Add to calendar
End
29/05/2015 13:00
Registration deadline
04/05/2015 00:00:00

The workshop will provide leading scientists opportunities to discuss materials research and technology, establish new contacts and discuss new European initiatives. The workshop will consist of introductory presentations combined with strategic discussions on the future science and technology of cubic SiC. Submit an abstract if you want to contribute a talk; participation in the discussions is also welcome.

The main purpose of this workshop is:

  1. To identify possibilities of using cubic SiC in energy applications
  2. Networking
  3. Project initiation
