This webinar will provide an overview of different fuel cell technologies and commercial manufacturers, focusing on the low temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) and the high temperature solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC).

Past and ongoing projects where such fuel cells have been installed and tested offshore will be presented, and the fuel cell's ability to handle some of the offshore-specific conditions will be discussed.

Finally, the existing rules and regulations for offshore use of hydrogen and fuel cells will be briefly summarized.
