Presenters:
Harald Svendsen, Research Scientist, SINTEF Energy Research, Andrzej Holdyk, Research Scientist, SINTEF Energy Research, Idun-Runde Mosgren, R&D Engineer, ABB and Jan Wiik, Senior Researcher, ABB.

If you wan to attende the webinar - contact Ragnhild Skorpa.

The first part by SINTEF will describe the specification and modelling of a "typical" platform that is representative of the Norwegian continental shelf. This will include preliminary results from operational optimisation simulations that estimate CO2 reduction with the integration of wind energy.

The second part by ABB is devoted to the implementation of the same system in ABB Process Power Simulator (PPSim). The main topic is impact of control philosophy choices and the effect on CO2 emissions. Emphasis is on "close to real" representation of Power Management System with operability assurance and risk reduction. Preliminary simulation results of reference platform are included.
