What is the Open Simulation Platform? The OSP is a set of software tools and model interfaces that enable model exchange and collaborative simulations of maritime systems. The goal is to bridge the technical gaps between different companies, engineering disciplines, software tools, and simulation techniques. For more information, see opensimulationplatform.com.
Who is the workshop for? It's for engineers and researchers whose work involves modelling and simulation of maritime systems and operations.
Tell me more! The workshop is free of charge and will be held online. It will consist of three parts:
- 09:00–11:30: Introduction to the OSP. Presentations and demonstrations of the co-simulation software and the OSP Interface Specification.
- 12:30–14:00: Tutorial. Participants will get hands-on experience with the OSP using a set of problems and models prepared by the OSP team.
- 14:00–15:00: Q&A. The OSP team is available to answer your questions about OSP and co-simulation of maritime systems to the best of our abilities.
All times are in CEST.
Where do I sign up? Please sign up using our online registration form. Note that there is only a limited number of seats available for the interactive sessions (Tutorial and Q&A), so sign up early!
Final registration deadline: 11 October 2020
Practical information, such as how to log on to the workshop, will be distributed to registered participants.
